The Entrance Examination for the Higher Speciality Courses for 2012 – 2013 session will be held on Sunday, 17th June 2012 between 10.00 AM and 1.15 PM at Chennai.
The Venue of the Examination will be intimated in the Hall Ticket.

DM refers to Doctor of Medicine, a 3 year superspeciality course after MD (Master of Diagnosis) which is a 3 year Post Graduate course after MBBS. The corresponding course is MCh which refers to Master of Chirurgical, a 3 year superspeciality course after MS (Master of Surgery) which is a 3 year Post Graduate course after MBBS

I am intrested in DM cardio and my fried in MCH urology in tamil nadu, i dont understand why this exam is not open on all india basis? when all othwer states r open? TN guys can give all india but not vise-a-versa? this is bad! court case must be done guys…

Dude you must be crazy to ask this….almost every state Superspeciality entrance exam is open(eg UP,West Bengal, Rajasthan ,Assam, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnatka )except for Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Agree with jasmeet but i think a case was filed last year against this dont know the result of it
except TN and AP all others state mch/dm exams r open to all india!

Hi, TN is acting strange- when all other states are open to all India how can TN, Andhara etsc be doing such stuff? imagine in todays world so much reservations….too bad….thsi time i think Tamil nadu mch/dm amission to cardiology, urology etc
TAMIL NADU govt is making fun of itself by not opening all india seats like all other intelligent states of india, mch/dm superspeciality in cardiology/neurology/gastro/oncology/urology/neurosurgery/ctvs etc….

If you are selected by a Special or Regular TNPSC, you can apply as Service Candidate
If not, you need to apply as Private Candidate
